Outfits for graduation? We got you!

Leana Goulden

First of all, I am praying for you sis! I honestly do wish for graduations to go ahead across the country for the class of 2021! You all deserve it so very much. Someone said to me recently – “It’s just getting a piece of paper, how are you that obsessed with a ceremony”. Maybe it is but to me and probably a vast majority of students… it is so much more. Now I’m not saying that all your memories throughout your uni years amount to that one moment but it’s pretty huge. I think of it more of a summary, a goodbye. After grafting for years, a celebration is always welcomed and we are allowed to proud of ourselves. If you are graduating this year, I raise my glass – I am proud of you.

Now…. let’s get some outfits on the go!!!

Look Number One

A two piece is always going to be a winner! It’s comfy, effortlessly chic and will look insanely sophisticated with your cap and gown! If you’re worried because you’re a clumsy eater that is likely to drop something down you (I can relate), maybe opt for a different colour!

  • Bardot Top
  • Wide-leg Trousers
  • Strappy Heels

Look Number Two

A wrap dress with a little bit of sass. I absolutely love these dresses as they are beautifully modest whilst highlighting and celebrating femininity. A pair of high-raised strappy heels and pearls would be the perfect partner for this wonderful ensemble.

  • Wrap Dress
  • Pearl Jewellery
  • High Strappy Heels

Look Number Three

If you have more of a simplistic style and prefer midi dresses that can accentuate your curves… a plain black pencil dress is the one for you. This dress is perfect for putting that extra emphasis onto your cap and gown! This lady has added a plain leather belt but if you did want a little bit of something different… accessories are the way to do so!

  • Pencil Dress
  • Stiletto Heels
  • Chunky Earrings

Look Number Four

Heading out after and want something a little more fun? A mini skirt is a bold move on graduation day but if you want to go for it… slay it queen! These tennis-styled skirts are completely on trend and pairing it with a blouse and some stunning heels is guaranteed to be the perfect ensemble!

  • Tennis-Styled Skirt
  • A pretty blouse
  • Some killer heels

Look Number Five

A beautiful figure hugging dress such as this one will always make you stand out from the crowd. This look is similar to the first but of course this time it is all-in-one. There’s two ways that you can go with a simple white dress… hella bling or matching. If you go hella bling then I would personally choose silver – silver bag, silver jewellery, silver shoes! Or, heading the other way – Match with white! Either way will look stunning so it is purely down to personal preference.

  • Bodycon Dress
  • Court Shoes
  • Beautiful bag

So, there you have it! Five different styles to hopefully take inspiration from! We are seriously obsessed with the last one… wow!! If you are loving any of these outfits, let us know @thestudentaspect.
