Dear Aspect, how can I celebrate Valentines despite being single?
This holiday is all about love but that means self-love too! Facetime some of your friends who are also single, or make yourself a dinner you can look forward to! Maybe treat yourself to something in your online shopping basket, but don’t open it till the 14th!
Aspect… How can myself and my partner celebrate Valentines safely as we don’t live together?
A nice idea if the weather allows is a socially distanced walk or if not, definitely a facetime date. Don’t forget to keep connected with your loved ones! You can eat together on facetime or even just have some drinks. You can still arrange things to look forward to when lockdown eases such as a picnic or future adventures. This time will get better, and we will have a normal Valentines day again, so do your best and remember, its one day of the year. Be kind to yourself.
Hi Aspect… do you have any recommendations for Valentine’s playlists?
An Apple Music playlist you should be playing this Sunday is the ‘2000’s Love Song Essentials’. It has everything from Alicia Keys to John Legend. One for Spotify users is ‘Love Ballads’ which also covers a varied group of artists from Celine Dion to Harry Styles. For a more R&B playlist, you could go for ‘Pillow Talk’ on Apple Music or a liberating playlist for the singletons would be the ‘Love Yourself’ Spotify playlist.
