Dear Aspect: Love Island Edition

Hope Horsman

So, Mary and Aaron have left the villa, and Faye has caused a storm on social media as there has been another row in the villa!

Dear Aspect, Do you think Jake and Liberty are right for each other?

Hope: Last week Leana was asked a similar question about whether Jake and Liberty would last much longer. Well, you should have taken bets on it Leana because you were right! Those of you who voted on our Instagram poll also thought that they were not right for each other. Like Leana wrote last week, there has been tension building between the two for some time, Casa Amor and the videotapes. They have been strong since the very beginning but like any relationship, once people spend more and more time together they may come to realise that they’re two very different people. So, do I think they’re right for each other? At the moment, no I do not. It is heartbreaking to see the two crumbling apart on TV and no one should be put through that.

Hey Aspect, Should Mary and Aaron had more time in the Villa?

Hope: I am torn with this one! Part of me thinks that they should have had more time in the Villa to grow and experience love. However, another part of me thinks that it was their time to go, in comparison to the other couples that are currently in the Villa. It is coming to that time in the series where they are narrowing down the couples in preparation for the final, so when I put it like that then I do think they were ‘ready’ to go (don’t hate me!).

Aspect, what in your opinion on Faye?

Hope: Again, this is another subject I am torn on. I really liked Faye in the beginning, she is very head-strong, knows what she wants and is honest. However, while those qualities are good ones, it is almost like I have seen them in a different light. I did not enjoy watching Faye and Liberty have a row as they have had a strong friendship from the get-go. After seeing everything that happened from Casa Amor up to now, I think that Faye just needs to settle down and not burn any bridges.
