Aspect’s Mocktail recommendations for dry January

Leana Goulden

Lily’s Cranberry Cocktail

I love cranberry juice so I had to incorporate it into my mocktail. This one is fruity and fizzy. I garnished my drink with a lemon slice and would recommend topping the glass with crushed ice. It tastes like summer but is an easy go-to all year round!

  • 100 ml of Cranberry Juice
  • 100 ml of Smooth Orange Juice
  • 100 ml of Lemonade
  • 2 tablespoons of Elderflower Cordial

Leana’s Watermelon Wonder

Ever just had a few random ingredients knocking about and thought, maybe I could throw them together? Do it! First of all, blend your watermelon in a mixer with the lemon juice to create a smoother, more liquid texture. Then put the Watermelon puree, orange juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker. Mix thoroughly and add to a long glass. Fill the rest of the glass with Fanta lemon, stirring throughout the addition. Garnish with either a piece of watermelon or lemon and enjoy your summer-filled beauty!

  • Watermelon (Chopped into Chunks)
  • Fanta Lemon
  • 25ml of Sugar syrup
  • 2 tbsp of Lemon Juice
  • 100ml Fresh Orange Juice

Hope’s coconut ice Pina Colada

So, you are craving that Pina Colada you had on holiday but do not want to drink alcohol, then make yourself one of these. Add the pineapple juice, apple juice and coconut beverage of your choice into a cocktail shaker or a sports bottle and shake. I chose a coconut smoothie as it will make the drink thick. Once shaken, pour into a glass and get the coconut water ice out of the freezer and place into the drink. For a classic look, you can add a pineapple wedge onto the rim of the glass, alternatively you can use pineapple junks on a cocktail stick.

  • 100ml Pineapple juice
  • 50ml Apple juice
  • Coconut water – put into freezer in the morning so it has a couple of hours to freeze
  • 100ml Coconut smoothie – you can use coconut milk as well
  • Pineapple wedges/chunks
